Letter from our Recruitment Team
Dear Potential New Members,
Not only am I a Towson University student and a Psychology major, I am also a philanthropist, a leader, and a proud Panhellenic woman. Greek life can help you be all of this and more. Joining Greek life at Towson was the best decision of my life. The women that I have met, not only in my chapter but in others as well, have inspired me to be the best version of myself. Alpha Gamma Delta has changed my life in multiple ways and I am immensely grateful for this sisterhood. It has given me the opportunity to gain leadership experience as Vice President of Recruitment and has given me friendships that will last years after graduation.
You may have seen the various TSM articles and “how to” guides for recruitment that make the experience seem terrifying, but I have some advice for you: be yourself. Come in with an open mind and a tremendous excitement to meet some amazing women that have goals to “inspire women and impact the world”. Don’t be nervous! We, as sisters, will welcome you with open arms and hope you see the amazing sisterhood we are lucky enough to enjoy every day. The sisters of Alpha Gamma Delta and I are very excited to meet you! Whether it be in the fall or spring, don’t be nervous. Be excited and enthusiastic to meet the awesome women that are proud to call themselves Alpha Gams.
Sam Drinkwater, VPR
